Moab Utah by Dale Wallace

Well here’s the story on our trip from Arizona to Montana. The idea was to drive straight through but we ended up stopping for lunch in a small town called Moab Utah. We soon realized that there were a number of places along the main street where you could rent 4 wheelers, dirt bikes etc. The choice was made to spend the afternoon in Moab, and either head to the hills or white water rafting. A bunch of us decided on heading to the hills on 4 wheelers. Dave and Mike, with mountain bikes in hand, headed out on their self powered peddlers since it was too late in the afternoon to hit the rapids. With our rentals, we had a guide that led the pack up into the desert mountains of Moab. I felt like I was either in an old John Wayne movie, or on the set of the Road Runner. Our guide led us on a 4 hour ride that was quite demanding in spots. We stopped at an arch where we all stopped for a photo op. Then we headed up to the top of a mountain which was close to 1500 feet. I almost barfed looking down over the edge. After another photo break, we started heading back down the mountain. We zipped across the desert sands jumping dunes and stopping for the odd water break. To say the least, it was a cool day off the bus.

I Love This Road

How much do I love this Road? Lots!!!
As some of you may know we recently released an album in Canada called "Believe" which we are incredibly proud of. Any of you got a copy of it??;)
There is a cut on the album that I really like called "I Love This Road" which I relate to on a daily basis and sums up a lot of emotions and feelings attached to a life on the road which I have known now for over 14 years.

One morning, a couple of months ago, I woke up with the idea of shooting our own video to that song. I couldn't stop all those images from running around in my head and was already seeing a final Music Video all edited and put together in my mind. After talking to the guys in the band we decided to go ahead and try our luck. I mean, we shot videos before with some great Video Directors in the US and Canada including my personal fav Steven Goldman so we knew that it was a lengthy process that would take a lot of work but I felt like I needed to give it a try.

We set it up in Winnipeg Canada while we were on our Canadian tour and shot the band performance there. Then, I went through tons of video footage I had taken from the road in the last few months that I used in many of our E-Drive TV short films. I had a blast going back through all that stuff as I got to see it again with fresh eyes and saw some moments happening in there that I hadn't quite seen the first time around.

I then went back on the Bus to take some more footage and put it all together to make a music video. I am really proud of it and can't wait for you guys to see it!

Write the date down! July 1st 2009
We will debut the Video on E-Drive TV and hope to hear y'all's comment about it.

Stay tuned!

We are really excited about it and our goal is for you guys to have the greatest times hangin' and chillin' with us.

We want to ask you all about what you think the ideal party with Emerson Drive would be like. We have a pretty good idea of what we want to do but so we don't miss out on anything you guys would like to see or hear we thought it would be a good idea to ask the true Emerson Drive Pros out there!

Brad vs Justin Moore

This is how it is....if you come on to the Emerson Drive bus and want to fall asleep first, your going to get something done to you that could possibly be used on E-Drive T.V.! Justin Moore was the first in a long time to fall victim to the Sharpie Marker!!! I wanted to do something a little more “R” rated....but if it’s gonna be used on our website I figured a couple different Sharpie marks wouldn’t hurt. I understand the consequences that come with my actions.....and I am ready and willing to take Justin on in any retaliation he might think of. I have a good 2 feet on him.....so I’m not to worried. Enjoy.

Chicago Cubs Game

Man, did we have a blast in Chicago yesterday. We drove overnight from Nashville and arrived just before lunch in time to shower and head to Wrigley field to sing the national anthem for the Cubs-Reds game. I have seen a couple games at Wrigley and always wanted to do the anthem there and finally, my dream came true. I just love doing the anthem's at any sporting event but the history of Wrigley is just so cool. Standing on the same field as some of the game greats. Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, and the voice of the Cubs, Harry Caray to name a few. We did a great job of the anthem and then got to go have lunch on top of the Cubby Bear roof top. The game was exiting but the Cubs couldn't pull off a victory. Later that night, we did a 1 hour set across the street at the Cubby Bear bar for a packed house. We are getting great response to some of the new material we've put in the set. I LOVE CHICAGO !!!!!

ACM Harley Ride

Hey ya'll,
Just added a new video today on our emersondrive.com website taken at the ACM Harley Ride in Las Vegas. We got a chance, once again, to be part of this awesome event which raised quite a few bucks for the "Lifting Up Lives" foundation. Along with Montgomery Gentry, Toby and 2foot Fred, we got to ride some pretty awesome NV roads and see some incredible scenery like the Valley of Fire which is very personal to me as I got married to my gorgeous wife there a year ago.

Hope you guys enjoy this new E-Drive TV Episode

Cheers
